I am Douglas James Hind (on the right in the picture), Technical Lead at Luminous Group in Newcastle Upon Tyne, with over 10 years of Unity development experience. Prior to Luminous I worked at a number of small mobile games studios after graduating from Teesside University where I studied Computer Games Programming.

I have experience with a number of languages, IDEs and libraries. Including C#, C++ and Java, in conjunction with Visual Studio, Unity3D, Xcode, Android Studio and others.

Outside of work I am currently working on a small IoT project, developing an aquarium monitoring and dosing system. This includes creating a custom circuit board for the Arduino based electronics and writing an Android application to control it.

Away from the computer I enjoy climbing, playing board games and wood working.
